O designer Kyle Tezak resolveu resumir alguns filmes em quatro elementos gráficos por cartaz. Além dos três aí de cima, há mais em seu site.

Os brinquedos de Dalton fazem parte da exposição Quentin vs. Coen, que chama designers pra remixar o imaginário do trio de diretores que reinventou o conceito de white trash (e, consequentemente, os EUA) para o século 21, na galeria Bold Hype (olha o nome!), em Nova York.

E por falar em Lebowski, me impressiona saber que até hoje tem muita gente boa que nem sequer sabe da existência do melhor filme dos irmãos Coen… Fora os que nivelam o filme por baixo e o tiram simplesmente como “filme de doidão”. Problema de quem pensa assim, fala sério.

Ainda estamos no mero reino da especulação. O comentário maluquete de Tara Reid foi reconsiderado por seu escritório, que divulgou a seguinte declaração à revista Entertainment Weekly:

“She heard Jeff Bridges say that he wanted to make Big Lebowski 2 and have all the original cast members in it, so she may have misspoke, thinking that included her based on what Jeff said.”

E o crítico do Austin 360, Matthew Odam, pode falar com os Coen sobre seu novo filme e aproveitou para perguntar sobre esse papo (furado):

I spoke with Joel and Ethan Coen today (look for that story closer to Oscar time) and mentioned Reid’s comments.
Ethan responded with a chuckle, saying, “I’m glad she’s working on it.”
When I asked if they actually had something in the works, Ethan said, “Well, we don’t but we’ll watch it when it comes out.” To which Joel quickly added, “Especially if Tara’s in it.”

Podem rir, mas a idéia já existe.

É muito provável que Tara Reid estivesse chapada quando, pouco antes do primeiro minuto da entrevista acima, ela manda:

“I have a movie coming out called The Fields. I have another one coming out that I produced with my brother, called The Irishman. And we’ll be doing American Pie 4 this year and Big Lebowski 2 this year.”
