A volta dos anos 90

A torcida é grande e a fila já tá dando volta no quarteirão. Os novos integrantes:

- O Blur voltou oficialmente ontem no show do NME Awards, em Londres, quando Damon e Graham voltaram a tocar juntos pela primeira vez em anos (“This is a Low” em uma versão ótima, apesar do vídeo tosco) - para depois revelar que eles estão repassando todo os discos do Blur, na ordem;

- Quem também voltou aos palcos pela primeira vez em anos, ainda que não oficialmente, foi o Pavement, quando quase toda a banda (menos Scott Kannberg) fez um show no casamento do percussionista Bob Nastanovich sábado passado, em Nashville, nos EUA. No repertório, “Proud Mary”, “What a Fool Believes” e “Love Train”.

-Jerry Seinfeld, quem diria, vai voltar pra TV - provavelmente pra terminar de destruir seu legado. Pelo que foi anunciado, The Marriage Ref é uma mistura de reality show com terapia de casais e convidados (vai um Curb Your Enthusiasm aí?), embora ele negue fortemente que seja. Sei.

- E Liz Phair é a nova garota propaganda da Banana Republic.

O fotógrafo oficial do Trabalho Sujo



O Trabalho Sujo sempre foi uma obra individual, pessoal e intransferível. Desde os tempos em que era apenas uma página na contracapa de segunda-feira do caderno de cultura do Diário do Povo em Campinas, eu sempre fiz tudo: escrevi e editei todo o conteúdo que sai por aqui. Já contei com convidados escrevendo, contratei um designer pra fazer o layout dessa versão dOEsquema, mas nunca tive uma equipe, alguém que eu pudesse passar a bola enquanto eu estivesse em férias ou enrolado com outra coisa.

A única pessoa que pode se orgulhar de fazer parte da equipe do Sujo é o meu grande comparsa, cúmplice e fiel compadre Sérgio Carvalho. Serjão é, sem brincadeira, um dos melhores fotógrafos de show que eu conheço - e não tou falando só dos que eu conheço pessoalmente, não. Bons tempos entre 1997 e 2000 quando, ainda no jornal, ligávamos no departamento de transportes para pedir carro para cobrirmos shows aqui em São Paulo. Maior mordomia: o carro pegava cada um de nós em casa, nos levava para o show, ficava esperando o show terminar e depois nos despejava de volta pra Campinas - ainda podíamos jantar por conta do jornal, afinal, estávamos trabalhando.

Lembrei disso porque ele hoje me chamou no MSN pra avisar que está, pouco a pouco, colocando suas fotos - que incluem boas lembranças daquele tempo - no seu próprio Flickr. Essas três aí em cima são pequenas amostras.

Um dia eu tomo vergonha na cara e digitalizo a minha parte desse arquivo: escaneando as páginas originais e digitando os textos que escrevi na época.
