As 50 melhores músicas de 2008: 39) Cicada - “Falling Rockets (Just a Band Remix)”

“Falling Rockets” é tão boa que parece sobra da coletânea do Blondie, mas quando os franceses do Just a Band deram um trato na música dos ingleses, o que tinha cara de hit new wave ganha ares de século 21, graças a timbres de sintetizador que ricocheteiam e deslizam pela música, por cima de uma base em que cowbell e uma sinuosa linha de baixo constróem o groove. Lá na frente, a vocalista islandesa Heidrun Bjornsdottir (que era do Gus Gus, lembra?) se esparrama pelo refrão, irresistível - “again and again and again and again…”.
