É tão bom acompanhar o Rock in Rio de longe, como se fosse uma novela ou um reality show…

Aproveitando o gancho, vale citar um cover de Nirvana pinçado pelo Everett True, o de “Love Buzz”, feito pelos franceses do Clapping Music. Mas apesar de ter se tornada mundialmente conhecida graças ao Nirvana, “Love Buzz” é do Shocking Blue (que também compôs uma música mais lembrada pelos covers alheios, a clássica “Venus“). Olha aí o original, como é foda.

É tão foda quando uma música muda tanto sem parecer que mudou.

Depois que eu linkei os Beatles tocando Prodigy, o Gustavo me lembrou desse já clássico mashup.

Deixa eu pegar o gancho e mudar de assunto, porque se eu começar…

Esse maluco dissecou o hit maior do Prodigy usando o Live da Ableton, mostrando como Liam Howlett construiu tudo que a gente ouve na música a partir de samples distorcidos. Uma aulinha que deve ser vista principalmente por quem não entende picas do assunto.

E não custa lembrar que o Liam fez isso na unha, sem computadô.

Como sábado que vem não vou estar aqui, deixo dois sets para animar a virada do ano. E os dois ficam por conta da dupla Chaves e Landosystem, que tocam a festa Disc-O-Nexo em Porto Alegre, que apresentaram ambas mixagens ao vivo na clássica rádio Ipanema. O primeiro foi ao ar no dia 23 de outubro e o segundo dia 6 de novembro. Dá pra ter uma idéia do nível da discotecagem pela seleção das músicas que estão aí embaixo – mas a passagem de uma música para a outra torna tudo mais tenso, elétrico e preciso. Bem foda.
