Grata surpresa acordar e descobrir que foi o Coquetel Molotov quem confirmou a especulação sobre a vinda do Dinosaur Jr. para o Brasil. O festival indie pernambucano também está fechando o Miike Snow e tem na manga o Otto, o Emicida, a Banda de Joseph Tourton, alguns artistas suecos (Taxi Taxi!, Taken By Trees e Anna Von Hausswolff), mas pra mim uma das grandes atrações é a francesinha Soko – já falei dela antes aqui. E se o Dinosaur Jr. vem pra São Paulo, tomara que arrumem um jeito de ela vir também (e de preferência antes do dia 19, hehehe).

Falei outro dia da Soko e aí vem o Terron e me saca essa parceria dela com a Marina Vello, ex-Bonde do Rolê. As duas lançam juntas o compacto “Mum“, que foi produzido pelo Radioclit com base da clássica “Low Rider“, do War.

Falando nela, a pequena francesinha só estreou nos palcos no fim do ano passado. A Kátia que desenterrou essa matéria, no mesmo post em que falava das músicas novas.

One hit wonder, celebridade 2.0, indie kid e mais uma artista surgida via internet, a francesinha Soko teve um pico de exposição em 2007 com o hit “I Kill Her“, mas desde então foge da fama e do sucesso com algumas recaídas. No início do ano, ela declarou estar oficialmente fora do circuito musical, assustada com as pressões envolvidas – ela havia acabado de mudar-se para Los Angeles para trabalhar seu primeiro disco. Chegou a declarar sua morte em sua página do MySpace e desmarcar suas (já raras) apresentações que faria no festival South by Southwest, no Texas. Mas a Kátia avisou que ela acabou de subir músicas novas em sua página pessoal – o que quer dizer que ela está pronta para voltar e o vídeo acima prova isso. Massa.

Enquanto o outro foi dedicado ao flashback, este novo traz o ritmo da pista de dança no meio de 2009.
