Dá pra dividir a carreira de Michael Jackson em duas fases, embora ela não seja tão facilmente separada pela assinatura do autor. A fronteira que determino é a da mudança de timbre de sua voz: enquanto ainda tinha voz fina de criança, ele já havia feito um senhor estrago na história do pop, mas nada se compara a quando ele engrossa - um pouco - a voz e começa a tomar as rédeas da carreira. Entre o Jackson 5, os Jacksons e sua carreira solo, no entanto, podemos encontrar ambas vozes nas três formas que Michael Jackson já se apresentou, por isso dedico esse Vida Fodona às canções que Michael cantava com voz de guri, antes de assumir a sensualidade como ingrediente crucial e a futura androginia robótica.
